The latest Geekbench results provide fresh details about the US-bound Galaxy A36, confirming key specs and performance.
Galaxy A36: Powered by Snapdragon 6 Gen 3
The US version of the Galaxy A36 has made its Geekbench debut, confirming it will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 SoC, a promising mid-range chipset known for delivering reliable performance. The tested prototype was equipped with 6GB of RAM, although additional memory configurations may be available when the device officially launches.
In terms of performance, the Galaxy A36 achieved a single-core score of 967 and a multi-core score of 2,750 on Geekbench 6.3.0, indicating solid capabilities for day-to-day tasks and multitasking. The device will ship with Android 15 out of the box, aligning with Samsung’s commitment to timely software updates. However, given that Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S25 series is set to be the first to launch with Android 15 later this month, the Galaxy A36 is expected to arrive in a few weeks, possibly in late Q1 2025.
