Strava Integration: A Game-Changer for Fitness+ Users

Perhaps the most significant update is the integration with Strava, one of the world’s most popular fitness tracking platforms. Now, when users share a Fitness+ workout on Strava, they’ll be able to see rich details within the app, including:

  • Episode image and number
  • Music genre
  • Trainer name
  • Workout metrics

Additionally, new and existing Strava subscribers can redeem up to three months of Fitness+ for free, making this collaboration a win-win for both platforms’ users.

New Programs and Content

Apple Fitness+ has expanded its workout offerings with several new programs tailored to different fitness goals:

  • Progressive Strength Training Program: Designed to help users gradually build muscle and strength.
  • Conditioning Program for Pickleball: A sport-specific training program to improve agility and endurance for pickleball enthusiasts.
  • Workshop-Style Yoga Program: Aimed at helping users master specific poses through detailed, workshop-style sessions.
  • Breath Meditation Program: Focused on mindfulness and stress reduction, with guided breathing exercises.

The popular Artist Spotlight series now features curated workout playlists from Janet Jackson, Coldplay, Bruno Mars, and Kendrick Lamar, offering users a fresh soundtrack for their fitness routines.

Time to Walk and Exclusive Dance Workouts

New episodes of Time to Walk, Apple’s audio-guided walking experience, feature Adam Scott, Rita Ora, Daddy Yankee, and Tiffany Haddish, offering inspirational stories and music for users to enjoy while walking. Additionally, Alex Wong leads an exclusive dance workout takeover, providing a fun, high-energy way to stay fit.

Fitness+ Pricing and Availability

Apple Fitness+ is available for $9.99 per month or $79.99 per year. Subscribers can share the service with up to five family members at no extra cost. It’s also included in the Apple One Premier plan, which bundles multiple Apple services for greater value.

Currently, Fitness+ is available in 22 countries, including the US, UK, Canada, Australia, Germany, France, and the UAE. The latest updates will be available starting January 6 on iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV, with real-time metrics available on Apple Watch for enhanced motivation and progress tracking.
